Kids

I can understand that this film was a little upsetting for some people. From reading other students blogs i saw that a lot of people felt that it went against their religion and also that they thought it went against their own and societies morals. But i however wasn't really that upset by it as i see it happening all the time, to me this film showed just how much people can determine by the place we live. When you look at where the film was set, it showed young people living in a poverty stricken area, Were they will always face all sorts of social problems and will nine times out of ten have to grow up quickly as that is they only way they will survive. One feels that although it is good and well people saying this film should have never have been made, but if they was to actually go around and take a look at what is going on in these poverty stricken areas then they might actually realise how common underage sex, teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STI's) are.
